Walking With God

Lead By Example As Jesus Did!
Walking With God Resized 275 260Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.  And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.  (Acts 2:41-42)

In the above verse there are four major things given which are the key ingredients to being a strong Christian individual, a strong married couple and even a strong church congregation.

Read The Bible
The Bible is a love letter from God. The more you read it, the more you'll fall in love with Him and His Word. (1 Peter 2:2).

Fellowship
You need to have friends who share your beliefs and who can encourage you. This is why it's so important to find a good, Bible-believing church where you can meet other Christians. (Hebrews 10:24-25).

Communion & Baptism
Communion and baptism are the two opportunities that the Lord gave us to publicly proclaim our faith. Communion constantly brings us back to the reality of the Lord's sacrifice and the blessings we've received from Him. Experiencing corporate communion on a regular basis allows you to relate with every Christian in this common faith that we've received by God's grace. (1 Corinthians 11:26) Baptism is a declaration of our intent to follow Jesus and is a picture of His death, burial and ressurection. (333)

Prayer
Prayer is like a telephone line that goes directly to God. It's important to spend time talking to Him every day, the more the better. (Philippians 4:6).

This new life doesn't stop here.  It's an on-going journey and adventure with Jesus which is completed in heaven. So continue to grow by serving others as unto the Lord.
